Synology Assistant 6.0 Free Download For Mac
I am trying to set up a new Synology DS713+ device. I use find.synology.com to find it on the network, and then click connect but every time I get ' connection failed, Please check your network settings'. This is my second device, the first one had no issues.
I initially started setting these up last year, then got sidetracked by other projects, so I can't remember if I had actually installed the second one, although it shows as not installed on synology web assistant, I thought I had started installing. I have tried holding in the reset button until it beeps, rebooting etc. Toast burn 2.1.1 purchase for mac. I'm sure I had this problem before, but can't remember the problem.

Status light is flashing orange on the device I can't connect to (on green on the active device which I can connect to). I just resolved the issue of not being able to log into the Diskstation by removing one of the drives.

This drive's indicator light was slowly blinking while the others were solid. After removing the drive, the unit started beeping and I could log into it again. I put the drive back in and it was recognized as a new disk but would stay stuck on re-initializing when repairing the RAID. I checked the logs and the same drive was reporting I/O errors for several days. Replaced with new drive and working fine now.
